English Translation:

Shalok, Third Mehl: There is One Lord God of all; He remains ever-present. O Nanak, if one does not obey the Hukam of the Lord’s Command, then within one’s own home, the Lord seems far away. They alone obey the Lord’s Command, upon whom He casts His Glance of Grace. Obeying His Command, one obtains peace, and becomes the happy, loving soul-bride. ||1|| Third Mehl: She who does not love her Husband Lord, burns and wastes away all through the night of her life. O Nanak, the soul-brides dwell in peace; they have the Lord, their King, as their Husband. ||2|| Pauree: Roaming over the entire world, I have seen that the Lord is the only Giver. The Lord cannot be obtained by any device at all; He is the Architect of Karma. Through the Word of the Guru’s Shabad, the Lord comes to dwell in the mind, and the Lord is easily revealed within. The fire of desire within is quenched, and one bathes in the Lord’s Pool of Ambrosial Nectar. The great greatness of the great Lord God – the Gurmukh speaks of this. ||6||

Spanish Translation:

Shlok, Mejl Guru Amar Das, Tercer Canal Divino. El Señor de todo es el Uno; Su Presencia es vista por todas partes. Dice Nanak, si uno no obedece la Voluntad del Señor, entonces en su propio hogar el Señor se ve muy lejos. Sólo se someten a la Voluntad del Señor aquéllos sobre quienes reside la Gracia del Señor. Sometiéndose a Su Voluntad, uno obtiene el Éxtasis y el Alma se vuelve una verdadera Novia en el Amor del Señor. (1) Mejl Guru Amar Das, Tercer Canal Divino. Me pasé la noche entera en angustia, pues no recibí el Amor del Señor. Dice Nanak, las verdaderas novias habitan en Paz, pues el Señor, su Rey, es su Único Amor. (2) Pauri He andado por el mundo entero; hay solamente un Señor Bondadoso. Uno no lo encuentra a través de sus propios esfuerzos, pues el Señor Mismo nos bendice con el fruto de nuestras propias acciones. A través de la Palabra del Shabd del Guru, el Señor llega a habitar en la mente y se nos revela en el interior. En éste mismo el fuego de la angustia es extinguido y uno se baña en la Laguna de Néctar. Gloria sea el Señor de Gloria; es por la Gracia del Guru que el Gurmukj habla así. (6)
